Description
Who this review is for
This review is designed for people who are reducing or stopping GLP-1 medication and want planned, supported transition rather than a sudden stop.
It may be appropriate if you:
Are worried about fatigue, low mood or weakness returning
Are concerned about rebound appetite or weight regain
Want to understand how your metabolism is adapting
Have been on GLP-1 for a prolonged period
Want structured support to rebuild resilience and stability
This is a higher-touch review, intended for those who want guidance beyond a single test result.
What this review looks at
This review includes comprehensive blood testing, interpreted specifically in the context of transitioning off GLP-1 and longer-term metabolic support.
Testing focuses on:
Blood sugar regulation
Liver and kidney function
Cholesterol
Iron status
Vitamin B12
Vitamin D
Folate
Magnesium
Inflammation markers
A comprehensive thyroid panel
Results are reviewed alongside your symptoms, health history, dietary intake and current stage of GLP-1 reduction.
What you get
Venous blood test (a trained phlebotomist will visit you at home)
Initial 75-minute consultation
Interpretation of results in the context of GLP-1 transition
A clear, personalised metabolic support plan
Additional follow-up consultations to support ongoing adjustment
This allows for changes to be paced and progress reviewed.
How this review helps
This review is designed to support a planned transition away from GLP-1 medication.
Rather than focusing on weight alone, it looks at the wider picture, including nutrient status, thyroid support, inflammation and metabolic stability, to help reduce rebound symptoms and support longer-term metabolic resilience.
How testing and follow-up support works
This review includes venous blood testing. A trained phlebotomist will visit you at home to collect the sample.
Results are reviewed in the context of reducing or stopping GLP-1 medication, alongside your symptoms, health history and nutritional intake.
Follow-up consultations are included to support this transition and adjust recommendations as needed.
Turnaround time
Once your blood sample has been received by the laboratory, results are typically available within 1–3 working days, depending on the tests included.
Turnaround times are calculated from the date the sample arrives at the laboratory and are quoted in working days (Monday to Friday).
If a sample cannot be processed
Occasionally a sample may be unsuitable for analysis due to factors such as collection, labelling, handling or transport.
If repeat testing is required, additional charges for re-collection and/or phlebotomy may apply.
Important information
This review provides nutritional and functional interpretation of blood test results and does not provide medical diagnosis, prescribing or medication changes.
Blood testing is carried out by an external UKAS-accredited laboratory. Venous sample collection is carried out by a third-party phlebotomy service.
This service does not include medication prescribing or dose adjustment.
Repeat blood testing is not included unless agreed separately.
Once a venous appointment has been arranged or a sample has been received by the laboratory, refunds are not available.
