This review is designed to identify areas where additional support may be needed, helping to reduce symptoms and support your ongoing use of GLP-1.
If you’re unsure whether this is the most appropriate review, you’re welcome to get in touch before booking.
How the venous blood test works (home phlebotomist visit)
This review requires a venous blood sample. A trained phlebotomist will visit you at home to take the sample.
Appointment availability and timings are subject to the phlebotomy service. You will be contacted to arrange a suitable time.
The sample is analysed by an external UKAS-accredited laboratory. Results are then reviewed alongside your symptoms, health history and current GLP-1 use.
Preparing for your blood draw
If fasting is required for any part of your testing, you will be advised in advance.
Please ensure your name and date of birth match the details provided at checkout, as incorrect details can delay processing.
Turnaround times
Turnaround times are estimates and may vary depending on laboratory processing and sample quality.
If a sample cannot be processed
Occasionally a sample may be unsuitable for analysis (for example due to collection, labelling, handling or transport issues).
If repeat testing is required, additional charges for re-collection and/or phlebotomy may apply.
Important information
This review provides nutritional and functional interpretation of blood test results and does not provide medical diagnosis, prescribing or medication changes.
Blood testing is carried out by an external UKAS-accredited laboratory. Venous sample collection is carried out by a third-party phlebotomy service.
Once a venous appointment has been arranged or a sample has been received by the laboratory, refunds are not available.
By purchasing, you confirm that the personal details provided are accurate and that you have read and agree to the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
Turnaround time
Once your blood sample has been received by the laboratory, results are typically available within 5-7 working days, depending on the tests included.
Turnaround times are calculated from the date the sample arrives at the laboratory and are quoted in working days (Monday to Friday).
Results are released once all requested tests are complete. In some cases, individual tests may take longer, which can affect overall reporting time.
